On 9th August 2024, The Graduate School, Kasetsart University organized the New International Graduate Students Orientation, Academic Year 2024. There were 51 international graduate students from various fields of studies participating in the orientation. This event was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Weeraphart Khunrattanasiri, Dean of the Graduate School for delivering opening address and presenting an Introduction of the Graduate School, iThesis and Information Technology Services to all international graduate students. Concerning the regulation session, Associate Professor Dr. Supanee Harnphattananusorn, Associate Dean for Education Services and Assistant Professor Dr. Teerasak E-kobon, Associate Dean for Education Standards jointly introduced and explained the Kasetsart University Regulations on Graduate Studies, Kasetsart University, B. E. 2566 (2023). Furthermore, the introduction of Kasetsart University Library services was presented by Miss Sarunyaporn Cholitkul, a Librarian, Professional Level. This event took place in the Auditorium, 8th Floor, The Graduate School Building, Kasetsart University.

On Thursday, July 11th, 2024, the Graduate School of Kasetsart University (GSKU) organized an online academic discussion with delegates from the Institute for Postgraduate Studies at Multimedia University (MMU), Malaysia. The GSKU participants included Associate Professor Dr. Weeraphart Khunrattanasiri, Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Teerasak E-Kobon, Associate Dean for Education Standards, and GSKU staff. The MMU participants were Professor Dr. Tee Connie, Dean of the Institute for Postgraduate Studies, and Dr. Chong Choy Yoke, Deputy Dean of the Institute for Postgraduate Studies. The discussion aimed to elaborate on several key points: procedures for initiating dual master’s and doctoral degree programs, curricula of interest, student supports and facilities. Additionally, the GSKU Dean planned to consult with relevant faculties at Kasetsart University that are interested in participating in dual degree programs. The meeting took place in Meeting Room 1, 7th Floor, Graduate School Building, Kasetsart University.

On Wednesday 15th May 2024, The Graduate School, Kasetsart University organized iThesis Training for International Graduate Students. This training was honored by Associate Professor Dr. Weeraphart Khunrattanasiri, Associate Dean for Information of The Graduate School for delivering an opening address and explained about the overview of iThesis to all graduate students. For this training, Assistant Professor Dr. Teerasak E-kobon, Associate Dean for Education Standards also jointly welcomed all international students. The training consisted of two sessions. The first session in the morning was iThesis Demonstration by Mr. Sorawut Chanasattru, Human Resources Officer, Professional Level and the Procedures of Graduate Students Preparing Thesis in the iThesis System by Miss Piangpen Hongsila, Educator, Practitioner Level. The following session in the afternoon was the EndNote Program Demonstration together with Introduction to Services from Kasetsart University Library by Miss Sarunyaporn Cholitkul, a Librarian, Professional Level from KU Library. Thirty two international graduate students from 11 countries, from various faculties and fields of study, participated in the training which took place in the Meeting Room 2, 7th Floor of the Graduate School Building.

The first session in the morning was iThesis Demonstration by Mr. Sorawut Chanasattru, Human Resources Officer, Professional Level and the Procedures of Graduate Students Preparing Thesis in the iThesis System by Miss Piangpen Hongsila, Educator, Practitioner Level. The following session in the afternoon was the EndNote Program Demonstration together with Introduction to Services from Kasetsart University Library by Miss Sarunyaporn Cholitkul, a Librarian, Professional Level from KU Library. On Wednesday 24th May 2023, Associate Professor Dr. Srijidtra Charoenlarpnopparut, Dean of the Graduate School; Assistant Professor Dr. Suriyan Tunkijjanukij, Dean of the Faculty of Fisheries; together with academic staff from the Faculty of Fisheries, namely Associate Professor Dr. Wanwimol Klaypradit, Associate Dean for International Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Methee Kaewnern, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs; Assistant Professor Dr. Napakhwan Whanpetch, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs; and Assistant Professor Dr. Yaowapha Waiprib, Assistant Dean for International Affairs; as well as Assistant Professor Dr. Wichan Mawinthorn, Associate Dean for Education Services of The Graduate School; and the Graduate School’s staff extended a cordial welcome to Dr. Ikuo Hirono, a representative of Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology (TUMSAT) on the occasion of agreement signing and receiving ceremony on the Double Degree Program of the Master’s Degree in Marine Science and Technology between KU and TUMSAT. The event took place at Tasanee Attanandana Meeting Room, the 3rd Floor, The Graduate School, Kasetsart University.

On Tuesday 4th April 2023, The Graduate School, Kasetsart University organized the Online Workshop on Integrated Thesis & Research Management System (iThesis) for international graduate students of Kasetsart University via Cisco WebEx program. Totally 80 graduate international students registered to attend this training. The workshop began with the opening speech and overview of iThesis by Associate Professor Dr. Weeraphart Khunrattanasiri, Associate Dean for Information. The next session was iThesis Demonstration by Mr. Sorawut Chanasattru, Human Resources Officer, Professional Level. This was follows by the procedures of graduate students preparing thesis in the iThesis system by Miss Piangpen Hongsila, Educator, Practitioner Level. The final part was the EndNote program demonstration together with introduction to services from Kasetsart University Library by Miss Sarunyaporn Cholitkul, a Librarian, Professional Level from KU library. The training was live broadcast from the Digital Media Production Room, 5th Floor of the Graduate School Building.

On Monday 25 April 2022, Dr. Krissanapong Kiratikara, the Chairman of Kasetsart University Council and Dr. Chongrak Wachrinrat, the President of Kasetsart University jointly signed the joint degree certificate of the Master of Science Program in Life Sciences (International Program) to Mr. Kakeru Nagaki and Mr. Kazuya Tanioka who are the first two students of the Joint Degree Program of the Master of Science Program in Life Sciences (International Program) between the Faculty of Science and the Graduate School, Kasetsart University and the Faculty of Agriculture, Yamaguchi University, Japan. Both students graduated in the second semester of 2021 academic year on 23 March 2022 under the supervision of Associate Professor Dr. Gunjana Theeragool from the Faculty of Science, Bangkhen. Mr. Nagaki and Mr. Tanioka were enrolled since the first semester of 2020 academic year. Each of them had an academic work published in international academic journal in SCOPUS, PUBMED, ISI (Impact Factor in 2020 = 4.813), and Q1 (2020). Upon this occasion, Associate Professor Dr. Somwang Khantayanuwong, the Vice President for Advanced Education Development and Suphan Buri Campus Establishment Project; Associate Professor Dr. Srijidtra Charoenlarpnopparut, the Dean of the Graduate School; and Associate Professor Dr. Gunjana Theeragool participated as witnesses. The event took place at the Office of the President, 4th floor, Golden Jubilee Administration and Information Center Building, Kasetsart University.

The training was live broadcast from the Digital Media Production Room, 5th Floor of the Graduate School Building.
